My family’s favorite sourdough pizza dough recipe! This is a super easy pizza dough recipe for quick pizza. You make the dough in the evening and let it ferment overnight. The next day your dough is ready to make homemade pizza for a quick family meal anytime you choose. When my kids need a quick meal this pizza dough is waiting in the refrigerator and I can have it ready in less than 10 minutes.

Sourdough Pizza Crust
Ingredients
- 4 CUPS UNBLEACHED FLOUR
- 1 1/2 - 2 TEASPOONS OF SALT
- 1/4 CUP OLIVE OIL
- THEN ADD
- 1/2 CUP SOURDOUGH STARTER
- 1 & 1/4 CUPS OF FILTERED WATER
Instructions
1. Mix flour, salt, and olive oil. Add water then mix INTO A SHAGGY DOUGH, COVER FOR 30-60 MINUTES.
2. STRETCH AND FOLD UNTIL SMOOTH DOUGH IS FORMED.
3. COVER AND LEAVE OVERNIGHT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.
4. The next morning REFRIGERATE DOUGH UNTIL PIZZA TIME.
5. DIVIDE DOUGH INTO 4 DOUGH BALLS
6. LET dough REST 15-30 MINUTES WHILE YOU ARE GETTING PIZZA INGREDIENTS READY OR REFRIGERATE DOUGH BALLS UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO USE.
Notes
- TIP: YOU CAN LEAVE THE DOUGH REFRIGERATED FOR SEVERAL DAYS (1-3 DAYS) AND USE IT AS NEEDED. THIS DOUGH ALSO MAKES WONDERFUL CRACKERS AND FLATBREAD!
- You can omit the olive oil but replace it with the same amount of water. (example: if you omit 1/4 cup of olive oil then add an additional 1/4 cup of water to the dough). If you want to only add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the recipe instead of the 1/4 cup then add an additional 2 tablespoons of water.
